{"id":129834,"date":"2026-04-01T10:13:42","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T08:13:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.courdescomptes.ma\/event\/la-cour-des-comptes-recoit-une-delegation-du-secretariat-detat-suisse-a-leconomie\/"},"modified":"2026-04-06T16:12:21","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T14:12:21","slug":"the-court-of-accounts-receives-a-delegation-from-the-swiss-state-secretariat-for-economic-affairs-seco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.courdescomptes.ma\/en\/news\/the-court-of-accounts-receives-a-delegation-from-the-swiss-state-secretariat-for-economic-affairs-seco\/","title":{"rendered":"The Court of Accounts Receives a Delegation from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>As part of Switzerland-Morocco Economic Cooperation Program 2025-2028 and the prospects of developing support initiatives for the Court of Accounts, notably in the field of digital transformation, Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Accounts, received on April 1, 2026, a delegation from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), led by Ms. Chantal Bratshi-Kaye, from the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Program Officer for &#8220;Macroeconomic Support&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this occasion, the First President laid out the Kingdom&#8217;s financial jurisdictions strategic priorities and key efforts, with particular emphasis on matters relating to the promotion of integrity and performance in public management, as well as on the role of the Court of Accounts of Morocco within AFROSAI and JURISAI, for which it assumes the General Secretariat. She also recalled the role of SECO as a member of the INTOSAI Governing Board and as a donor to the INTOSAI Development Initiative (IDI), which represents an opportunity to respond to support from African SAIs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The representatives of the Swiss delegation expressed their satisfaction with the quality of bilateral relations and underscored that Morocco is a successful case within the cooperation framework deployed by Switzerland across the globe. They expressed particular interest in matters relating to financial market stability and the performance of public finance management, while signaling their openness to exploring additional areas of cooperation of potential relevance to the Court of Accounts of Morocco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both parties welcomed the progress made in this cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing and further developing joint efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This meeting was followed by a technical work session with a team from the Court of Accounts, focused on the advancement of the cooperation project regarding the identification of technological solutions, in particular through the deployment of AI-based tools, to tackle challenges encountered in the conduct of the Court&#8217;s activities.
