Bilateral Meeting between the Court of Accounts of Morocco and the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation

On the sidelines of the Annual Meeting of the INTOSAI Working Group on the Audit of Sustainable Development Goals and Key Development Indicators, hosted by the Court of Accounts of Morocco on April 15-16, 2026, Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, First President of the Court of Accounts, held a working meeting with Mr. Dmitry Zaytsev, Secretary-General of the aforementioned Working Group and Member of the Board of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.

The meeting focused on exploring avenues for bolstering cooperation between the two institutions in areas of mutual interest, at both the multilateral and bilateral levels.

In this context, the parties agreed to work jointly, under the auspices of INTOSAI and its regional organizations, to support the capacity of Supreme Audit Institutions in monitoring and assessing national efforts towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. They further agreed to facilitate access by AFROSAI, whose General Secretariat is assumed by the Court of Accounts of Morocco, to the training modules offered by the INTOSAI University digital platform (U-INTOSAI), managed by the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation. The two parties also agreed to advance bilateral cooperation in areas of digital transformation and the audit of international organizations.
