Bilateral Cooperation: Working Meeting between the First President of the Court of Accounts and her Turkish Counterpart

On the sidelines of the annual meeting of the working group of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) on the auditing of Sustainable Development Goals and key sustainable development indicators, hosted by the Court of Accounts on April 15-16, 2026, the First President, Ms. Zineb El Adaoui, held a working meeting with her Turkish counterpart, Mr. Metin Yener, President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic of Turkey.

The meeting focused on exploring ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two institutions in areas of mutual interest, particularly regarding digital transformation, the use of artificial intelligence in oversight, environmental auditing, and the auditing of public-private partnership (PPP) projects.

The Turkish official conveyed its interest to learn from the expertise accumulated in the area of jurisdictional oversight and to pursue cooperation with the Court of Accounts within the framework of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions with Jurisdictional Functions (JURISAI), of which the Court serves as the General Secretariat.
